bbq prawns are easy to cook and are a typical aussie dish for the barbecue. they taste delicious, cook quickly and accept marinades easily, which adds a burst of flavour. simply mix, marinate and barbecue. there’s nothing like Korma pawns hot off the babecue.

Ingredients:
raw king prawns, shelled, deveined with tail attached
greek yogurt, low-fat
korma curry paste
lemon/lime wedges (optional)
Step 1: In a small bowl combine korma paste and yogurt. Set aside.
Step 2: Coat prawns thoroughly with marinate using a basting brush. Cover with cling wrap and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Heat the BBQ hot plate for a few minutes on high, then turn the burners down to low heat and place the prawns on. Cook for 60-90 seconds, turning them two or three times, then remove from heat and serve immediately.
Tip:
• Be careful not too over cook the prawns or they will be rubbery and tasteless.
• Garnish the prawns with finely chopped spring onions and serve as.
• Or serve with either salad or steamed/grilled vegetables.
• Prawns can be eaten hot or cold.
